The dinning hall might as well as just close down during breaks because the food that they make during the break really lack variety. I also haven't seen any lunch meals during the break. Lunch hrs which are usually from 1-4 pm and I went into the the dinning hall at 1 and they were serving the same thing as they were when I went in for breakfast. As for dinner these past few days they didn't even have anyone serving hamburgers nor did they have much variety they only had 4 food items excluding pizza and sandwiches. The only meat that they had was chicken and everything else was veggie. I didn't expect the best food in the world to be served at GT dinning halls but at least make it in par with the food that was served during school days. All I wanted to say is that they should have the same service as they would during breaks as that of during school days.
I strongly agree with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat's more, the breakfast at GT dinning halls is always the same. They only have eggs, millet gruel, bread, and bacon.
i sometimes regret getting a meal plan because of the lack of variety. brittain really gets old. now i understand why the upperclassmen prefer to cook their own food.
ReplyDeletei, of course, prefer to eat vietnamese food at my boyfriend's house haha. a large variety AND it's free :D
To be fair though you can't expect the same food over break when most students are off campus. It would not make sense to provide the same quanity of food for a drastically reduced student population.
