ABOUT CHINESE FOOD IN MY COLLEGE LIFE

Well, in the year that I spent in Indiana, I really had some good Chinese food, even Indiana is a poor place with nothing but corns...

So basically, when I came to Atlanta, I was not worried about food at all, I thought I would have enough good American and Chinese food to eat for my entire college life.

Then I found I was wrong.

Since I am hungry at late night a lot, I order Chinese food a lot. Mandarin Palace 2, Lucky Buddah... Errr,,, They really disappointed me. Too much oil in the Chow Mein, too much onion in Kong Pao Chicken, everything is too sweet...(Maybe I am a little picky about Chinese food.lol)

The only place that I could find good traditional Chinese food is the small little tiny place: the so called China town. Hotpot, Fulinmen(HIGHLY RECOMMAND LOBSTER OVER THERE!!!!) and food court are all pretty good over there, and if you with a group, the price won't be too high either(Beside hotpot is around 10 bucks per person.)

In conclusion, I really hope that the "Chinese food industry" in Atlanta will develop faster in the future so that we can have a better college life. LOL

  2. If one is craving Asian food and one is willing to walk a bit, then take the MARTA to the Doraville Station and walk to the Buford Highway. That's the Asian area of Atlanta. All along Buford Highway are Asian (and Hispanic) businesses, restaurants, markets, etc.
